An extraction system is a key safety component in packaging machinery and filling lines. It captures gases, vapours, dust, and aerosols generated during production or filling and removes them safely. This helps maintain a clean, safe workplace and reduces both health and technical risks.

In filling lines operating under explosion protection (Ex), gases released during filling are captured directly at the filling nozzle. They are then reliably routed to the on-site extraction system. This prevents hazardous atmospheres from forming in the work area. Modern extraction systems can include filters, sensors, and automatic control technology. They are designed to meet strict ATEX and safety requirements.
